Virtual Event

The popular software development conference “Karlsruher Entwicklertag” is returning in June with a special online event after skipping 2020 altogether. The organizers, andrena Objects, plan to move not only the conference, but the spirit of the local software development community online with an informative, but also entertaining agenda. Spread out over two days, the conference will welcome leading regional speakers, including a keynote from Gunter Dueck, the former mathematics professor, CTO of IBM, and now business angel, author, and thinker known for his immensely popular and often thought-provoking speeches. Both the Conference Day and the Agile Day will be punctuated by special musical and fitness sessions to keep the audience on more than their proverbial toes.

From 3:15 to 4:00 pm on 10 June, the Entwicklertag’s Agile Day, Andrej Krasnik, Wibu-Systems’ Head of Software Development, will take to the virtual stage with his session on “Agile Software Development for Security Products”. His 45-minute presentation is set to cover some of the fundamental questions for agile practitioners in the sensitive and carefully regulated world of security products. He will not only speak about the new challenges for communication and collaboration in the post-Corona reality, but also address ways to integrate security considerations and the required technical and legal checks for third-party components in the busy reality of an agile development process.

Join the Karlsruher Entwicklertag live or follow the proceedings on Twitter and stay in touch with the ideas and innovations coming out of the dynamic Karlsruhe IT community!
