Pardot

Our American website uses Pardot Services, an analytical tool of salesforce.com inc., The Landmark @ One Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. Pardot Services will set no more than three cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer and allow us to analyze your use of the website. The cookies are a "Visitor Cookie”, an “Opt-In Cookie”, and a "Pardot App Session Cookie". The visitor cookie generates an ID number used to recognize the browser of the website visitor. The ID number is a generated numerical code that has no significance outside Pardot Services. The opt-in cookie ensures that no visitor cookie is stored on the computers of users that have selected the “Do Not Track” setting in their browsers. The Pardot App session cookie is not set unless a customer logs onto the Pardot App as a user. All cookies contain only the number code generated. No personal data is collected in this context.

If you wish to disable Pardot tracking, you can change your browser settings or execute the appropriate browser extension.

We will not use the data collected by Pardot Services for identification purposes. The ID numbers generated will not be combined with other personal data collected by us.

reCAPTCHA

For your protection, we use the reCaptcha service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 United States ("Google”). This service distinguishes whether the input is of human origin or created improperly by automated processes. This service includes the transfer of IP addresses and other data potentially required for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. For this purpose, your entries are sent to and processed by Google.

When IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within the member States of the European Union and other member States of the European Economic Area. Your full IP address would be transferred to a server of Google in the United States and truncated there in exceptional cases only. Google uses this information on our behalf to analyze your use of this service. The IP address collected from your browser as part of the reCAPTCHA service will not be combined with other data held by Google.

The privacy policy of Google applies to this data. For more information, please see: https://policies.google.com/privacy/update?hl=policies.

Please note that IP addresses are anonymized on this page to ensure the anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called “IP masking”).

Our use of reCAPTCHA is based on Sect. 6 Para. 1 Item a) GDPR. By confirming the query, you consent to our processing of your data. The processing of your data is legitimate in accordance with Sect. 6 Para. 1 Item f) GDPR; the query is used to ensure protected access by a human user; this is within our legitimate interest.

Social Media

We are using social media platforms to give you easy access to us and our services.

  1. Twitter
Our websites use social plugins ("plugins") of the social network Twitter, which is operated by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA ("Twitter"). When you use the Twitter and the “Re-Tweet” functionality, the pages visited by you are linked to your Twitter account and may be disclosed to other users. This will transfer data to Twitter. We have no knowledge what data is transferred to Twitter and what exactly Twitter will do with the data.
Further information on this can be retrieved directly from Twitter under https://twitter.com/en/privacy.
You can change your data protection setting in your Twitter account under https://twitter.com/settings/account.
  2. YouTube
We are using the plugins of the Google operated website YouTube. Operator of the webpage is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit a page using the YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The YouTube server will learn which page was visited by you. YouTube uses cookies to collect information about visitors. Among others, YouTube will use this information to create video statistics, limit fraud and improve the user experience. This will also lead to a connection to the Google DoubleClick Network. Using DoubleClick, Google tracks users visiting multiple websites. If you start a video, more data processing could take place. We have no influence on this.
    For further information see https://policies.google.com/privacy/update?hl=en
  3. Facebook
We are using social plugins from facebook.com operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. The plugins can be identified by the Facebook logo.
If a user uses a Facebook link, the browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of Facebook and transfers data to the servers. We have no influence on what data is transferred to Facebook.
Using the plugins, Facebook will learn information that a user visited a specific web page. If the user is logged into Facebook, the visit will be associated with his Facebook account. If the user interacts with the plugin by clicking “like” or giving a comment, this information will also be transferred to Facebook. If the user is not a Facebook member, it is still possible that Facebook learns the IP address of the user. Facebook claims that in Germany only anonymized addresses are stored.
    For further information see https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy.
To change your privacy setting you can visit https://www.facebook.com/settings.

Duration of Data Retention

Your personal data will be stored for the applicable legal retention period and thereafter routinely erased, unless your personal data is still required for the stated purpose of that data’s retention (e.g. for initiating or executing a contract).

Latest after a period of 3 years, we will check whether your data is still required or whether any legal retention requirements prevent its deletion.
