The Velektronik Platform for trustworthy electronics invites industry experts and the tech community to the "Days of Trustworthy Electronics 2024". This event will explore the latest advancements and project results from the "Trustworty Electronics" initiative by the BMBF – Federal Ministry of Education and Research, supporting Germany's technological sovereignty.

Talk Highlight: Trusted Digital Identities

Wibu-Systems will present the groundbreaking VE-ASCOT R&D project, that the company coordinated in collaboration with Siemens AG, Infineon Technology AG, Bielefeld University, Fraunhofer Institute SIT, abd KIT. This project addresses the significant challenges in the manufacture of complex electronic systems, which are heightened by supply chain issues and increasing cyber threats. Our focus will be on creating a digital identity (DID) for electronic systems through a blockchain-based "Chain of Trust" (CoT).
