National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Shanghai, China

As China is investing massively into automation application markets that include automotive, paper making, packaging, power grids, rail transportation, machine tooling, new energy sources, building materials, metallurgy, and even mining, the country is reaching a tipping point in its ambitious plans for independent industrialization and digitization. By the end of 2018, China's digital economy reached 31 trillion Yuan, accounting for one third of the entire GDP and proving that the digital transformation is becoming an important breakthrough in the metamorphosis of Chinese SMEs by reducing management costs and improving operational efficiency. Since its inception, IAS has been committed to being a Chinese barometer for the automation market, showcasing the leading actors in production and process automation, electrical systems, robotics, industrial automation IT and software and microsystems technology.

Wibu-Systems, alongside all the other German exhibitors, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA), and the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (ZVEI), is looking forward to welcoming you to the Industrial Automation Show.

During the Leading Digital Innovation Solutions Forum, organized by the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Alliance and the Digital Manufacturing Transformation and Upgrade Subcommittee, on September 17th, 9.30 am to 5.30 pm, at the National Convention and Exhibition Center, Shanghai, Meeting Room M4-02, Dola Zou, COO and Sales Director of WIBU-SYSTEMS (Shanghai) will join a selected group of 150 experts from the digital manufacturing world. At 2.15 pm, she will be on stage to talk about Protecting code and new approaches to industrial software monetization.

Security at the very foundation of the machine or plant engineering process involves controls and development environment, hardware, runtime environments, and operating systems, as well as programming languages and applications. CodeMeter provides protection at every juncture of the process. CodeMeter Protection Suite with AxProtector encryption technology can be easily integrated into new control systems or retrofitted into existing systems by simple software updates. CodeMeter offers a single and standard means for managing access rights, certificates, keys, and licenses in a fully scalable solution. CodeMeter licensing options enable the makers of industrial controllers to manage granular licensing rights, provided at the time of need to facilitate lean production processes. Time or volume-limited licenses can be used to closely monitor service technicians and ensure that access to systems is limited only to the period of their active work on site.

CodeMeter protection, licensing, and security tools are available for most common operating systems and architectures, including ARM, x86, and PowerPC. For PLC programmers, CodeMeter has been integrated into B&R Automation Studio, CODESYS, Phoenix Contact PC Worx, Rockwell Automation Studio 5000, and Siemens TIA Portal.

We look forward to seeing you in Shanghai where we can give birth to a brighter future, founded on strong alliances between East and West and on pioneering ideas.
