On SuSe 10.1 the hotplug mechanism is per default configured not to automatically recognize mass storage devices. You can change this default behaviour by changing the 'fstab' file to enable the automatic detection again. Please proceed as follows:

• Use the WibuKey driver version  5.20 and higher. This versions contain a internal handling for this problem.

or :

• Edit with root rights the file /etc/fstab
• Replace the line: usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto 0 0  by usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs auto 0 0.
• Reboot your system.
