Visit us in hall 9, booth B24

5 May 2020 - 7 May 2020

T4M returns to Stuttgart, Germany, for the second time with its innovative concept combining a trade fair, forums, workshops, and networking activities. Visitors at T4M can discover new components and materials, the latest manufacturing technologies, effective production environments, and cutting-edge services in the medical arena. The show will again run in parallel to Control, the international quality assurance expo, giving visitors the opportunity to broaden their expertise and experience.

You can find Wibu-Systems’ exhibit at the VDMA Working Group Medical Technology cluster space (hall 9, booth B24), an area that brings together highly qualified vendors dedicated to serving the entire value chain. As the largest industrial association in Europe, the VDMA has a worldwide network of partners in the mechanical engineering sector and the industries supplied by it. Its Medical Technology working group forms a specialized platform for suppliers of medical technology within the VDMA.

At our exhibit, you can see CodeMeter, our flagship technology for digitalization in the medical sector, live and in action. Each flavor of CodeMeter is dedicated to a specific range of devices and uses; the constellation of modules as a whole serves the medical industry by protecting digital assets (software, firmware, and confidential data), securing connected endpoints, and monetizing software-based business models (features on demand, pay-per-use, subscription, lease, and more). The technology runs in both greenfield and brownfield applications, provides a wide variety of secure elements to store secrets (encryption keys and license files), easily interfaces with back office systems, and meets the servitization needs of today’s digital marketplaces.

On 5 May, 1.30 pm to 2.00 pm, you can also join Oliver Winzenried, CEO and co-founder of Wibu-Systems, at the Blue stage for his lecture on “How medical device manufacturers combine security with new business models”. The increasing number of connected medical devices is bringing security to the very top of the agenda in medical technology, as manufacturers and operators need to ensure that configuration data and the units themselves cannot be manipulated and the confidentiality and integrity of patient data remain unassailable. New business models are the added bonus of the solution, as they enable true win-win-win situations for device manufacturers, operators, and patients.
