As part of its continuing evolution, Wibu-Systems is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who is available at very short term. He or she already has a minimum of 5-year experience in a similar position, preferably in the high-tech space. The new member of the marketing team will join a very dynamic business unit that is responsible for corporate and channel marketing. Due to the international scope of the work, the readiness to work flexible hours is a must. He or she will report directly to the Global Marketing Director and will be based at the German headquarters of the company. The candidate’s duties and responsibilities in the first year will include:
German localization of product and marketing literature
Press relations: engagement with new editors and press monitoring
Social media: strategy and operations
Data analysis: performance indicators for the marketing mix
Web content and mailing management
Podcasts: securing interviews
New opportunities: Identifying awards to enroll for, industry analysts for technical briefings, and industry blog platforms to repurpose our contents
The candidate is expected to be a native German speaker with excellent linguistic skills and exceptional fluency in English.
A short and incisive German and English written resume (two pages or fewer in each language) should provide complete contact details, incl. social media profiles, a picture, the last two relevant professional roles, the most frequently used digital tools, tangible results achieved in previous jobs, personal strengths, work samples in line with the required duties, and any work-related volunteer experience. Candidates who meet the above criteria will initially be interviewed over Skype. Know-how acquired in the field and personality are considered as important as formal educational attainments.
