Software Sales Engineer

Wibu-Systems is a leader worldwide in the software license management and protection market (digital rights management, anti-piracy and anti-reverse engineering). Headquartered in Germany, our clients are professional software vendors ranging from independent developers to Fortune 500 corporations.

Wibu-Systems USA is looking for a Software Sales Engineer who will provide excellent customer relation support as we expand our USA/Canadian sales office in Edmonds.

In your role with our sales team you will:

  • Discuss with our customers the implementing of our technology in their product and their business automation (web services, ERP integration etc.). This can happen via web meeting, phone conferences or on-site visits.
  • Write use cases reports, functional specification and implementation documents.
  • Implement the final code which integrates our out-of-the-box solutions deeper into the customers’ products and web services.
  • Support the customer in the aftermath around optimization, enhancements and and new requirements.

We require the following qualifications:

  • Ability to listen to the requirements of customers and converting the wishes into professional applications and services.
  • Eager to support of our sales representatives in all technical related customer communication.
  • Solid software development coding skills (C/C++, Java, C#)
  • Solid knowledge about programming and configuring of web services (PHP, IIS) and SQL databases.
  • Motivated, responsible, and ambitious. Looking to grow and improve with the success of the company.
  • Open to travel through USA and Canada to visit customers to discuss and implement solutions on customer site.

We would prefer:

  • Experience in creating presentations and technical articles
  • Associates degree/some college/post-secondary certificate, preferably in software development.
  • Basic Knowledge of SalesForce.
