Wibu-Systems Technology
Wibu-Systems has always been an early adopter of new manufacturing technologies such as miniaturization and chip-on-board or the latest encryption algorithms. We also create systems which go on to become standards for others companies. We hold a number of international patents and collaborate with important consortiums, committees and research institutions such as SIIA, USB Implementers Forum, BITKOM, VDE, FZI (Research Center for Information Technologies in Karlsruhe).
R&D has always been important to us. Being close to KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), one of Germany’s three elite universities, has brought us great benefits. We cooperate closely with universities and many other institutions, and contribute our expertise and knowledge to important industrial projects. Leading corporations such as AutoDesk, Apple, HP, IBM, Intel, Microsoft and Sun have included us in their developer programs.

Always an Award Winner
For the third time in three years an international jury has chosen CodeMeter® as one of the top 5 DRM finalists in the renowned SIIA Codie Awards. The German Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology awarded the coveted SimoBIT prize for safe mobile IT applications to Wibu-Systems and a number of collaborating partners. These are only two examples from our long list of awards.
