Oliver Winzenried, CEO and founder of Wibu-Systems, explains the challenges for the protection of machines against piracy such as the protection of embedded software, know-how protection and integrity protection. Attacks such as Stuxnet create the awareness for the topic security in the industry. The CodeMeter technology fullfils these challenges and provides a protection hardware in different form factors such as USB, SD, microSD and CF. Additionally these CodeMeter hardware provide flexibility, robustness and the ability to retrofit on site.
