CmDongle
CmDongle is the hardware-based component of CodeMeter® technology.
Your benefits:
- CmDongle is available in many compatible form factors
- CmDongle uses standard algorithms (AES, RSA, and ECC) to provide maximum security
- Each CmDongle contains an internal clock and can be connected to the Internet.
- Each CmDongle can simultaneously activate up to 6000 different licenses (of a maximum of 4 billion possible licenses)
- A Smartcard chip at the core of the CmDongle provides maximum security against hackers
- Secure, file-based remote programming allows licenses to be modified at the customer's premises
- CmDongle firmware can be updated to equip old devices with new functions
