Extended Software Protection secures Real-Time Operating Systems

Preventing Product Piracy

Embedded software controls modern machines and plants, defines functionality, and increasingly contains important manufacturing know-how. Product pirates try to take advantage of the manufacturer's success and avoid expensive development costs by implementing reverse-engineering to analyze the individual components and the corresponding software. If the machine of the manufacturer is poorly protected, it is easy for pirates to create replicas. This not only reduces turnover, it is also a threat to the manufacturer's economic existence and ruins his reputation as a result of poor quality replicas on the market.

'Immobilizer' protects Machines and Plants against Product Piracy
