SumoDacs

SumoDacs aims to develop an architecture to provide secure access to company data with mobile devices using hardware tokens for authentication. The hardware is already available as form factors for mobile applications, for example, as USB stick or as SD Card; in addition the electronic identity card (eID) recently introduced will be used as hardware. An authorization system based on context-sensitive roles will allow a fine-grained access control and digital rights management meeting the requests of widespread application scenarios.

After completing the project a prototype reference solution will be available within the CRM system of CAS providing a browser-based client security solution. Moreover, the prototype will be further developed and provided as part of products for secure access, e.g. access and identity management, and for protecting user data. Wibu-System will provide developer tools to easily integrate mobile security applications. This will open up new market potential for protecting and licensing of digital products and promote economic and job growth.
